Born in the icy North of Hallas, I was named for one of the founders of Clan McDonald - a Viking Warrior, remembered in history as Conn, the Hundred Battles Warrior. It is recorded that as battle was joined, he would roar out his name, then "…grown men quailed, and women wept!" A worthy ancestor for a Barbarian Warrior!
I canna say I remember m'parents: Probably but a gleam in me Da's eye, and I think I was born with the tattoos! My earliest memories were of my first brisk swim in the icy Hallas lake, carrying everything I owned – me kilt, a short sword and a candle held high in the night! I ventured out of the icy nest into the snowy hillsides – and introduced myself to the bears! When they come with tooth and fang, my response is pretty basic… I made level 3 that first night without dying, and thus was my pattern set for good or ill, as the lone warrior/hunter. Many evil things crawled out of the ice to attack me and died with the sound of my name in their ears, echoing in the icy canyons! Happily, I wandered the icy hills and tundra, always alone, enjoying a good fight, giving and taking with the best - though there was a little matter with the Ice Giants… I must return someday and correct that unbalance!
One day I met a young Ranger, Arathain, young in age but strong and with much knowledge of the world outside of Hallas. Having reached a level where I could handle the Vengeful Whatevers, he convinced me it was time to venture forth and took me to Freeport. From there I have increased my skills – some – never enough. I love to hunt Orcs to extinction, theirs or mine! (A nasty Beserker tendency to fight to the death!) I roam the Sands of North Ro, Oasis and West Commons – mostly alone – grouping as necessary for experience. My desire and goal is to become proficient enough at my craft to allow me to wander freely across Norrath and explore – and fight! I am a fletcher by trade, but mostly provide my arrows – free of charge – to the Orc, Madmen, Ghoul and Mummy population of Norrath. Sure an’ it’s happy they must be to receive such a fine gift – for they always come running to thank me!
I love a good fight! And what other type of fight is there?! But I delight in hunting the evil things that exist in Norrath: For as far as my arrows range and my name can be heard…
